During this time I have found that I am able to schedule our customers parts on our machines more efficiently. Knowing what our customer has in stock, how fast they are using the parts, and what the forecast is, I now know on a daily basis what parts I need to manufacture and what parts I need to ship. I am manufacturing parts that will be shipped in the near future, not sitting on the shelf gathering dust. Recently Nocturne has added a feature to let my customer know what I have shipped so my customer knows what is in transit. This has reduced the number of phone calls I receive from my customer checking to see what has been shipped. This has been a very exciting project from the start to work with and help develop.
