Operation Using Emerge is Easy
It's quick, friendly, confidential, and powerful. Simply use a District computer on your Intranet with a Web browser. Go to your internal District IEP Web page and login with your user name and password. Since Emerge is designed for end users, you'll quickly become comfortable and productive.


Main Menu - Divides functions into simple, logical, easy-to-use areas.
  1. Login as an administrator or teacher.
  2. Choose a student or function.
  3. Select a form and add information and comments. Print as needed.
  4. Change student status, school, or programs as desired.
  5. Perform administrative or other teacher duties.
  6. Manage the system.
IT Requirements


IT Requirements are Minimal
Emerge can be installed at your District or in our secure facilities, and typically requires one Web and one SQL database server. Since it is a Web-accessed program, users only need a computer connected to your Intranet or the Internet with Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or later. Requirements will vary based on your expected number of simultaneous users and method of linking to current student databases.

By eliminating the need to update software at every user's computer, we drastically reduce your IT maintenance requirements. Emerge is centrally located and upgraded in one place. It's an ideal "thin client" program.
